Research Directions

Information technology and computing in general currently touches every aspect in life. This headline is reflected within the faculty across all of its four specializations: Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Computer Networks. This is also enabled by the specialization diversity of the academic staff members of the faculty and their exposition to different research domains. We cannot exhaust here the multitude of research areas of interest for the totality of the staff members. Following are just examples of these applied to the solution of real life problems that could be blended to create many multidisciplinary projects.

  • Data Centers
  • Perceptual Computing and Brain Modeling
  • Bioinformatics
  • Big Data Computing
  • Cloud Computing
  • Data Mining
